#1 Force Quit The App

Before doing anything else, I’d like you to fully close and reopen Paramount Plus.

You see, the platform might’ve encountered an issue while running background processes. By relaunching Paramount Plus, you’ll be able to reload most of its resources from scratch and get rid of any troublemakers.

You can easily relaunch Paramount Plus, you’ll just need to:

iPhone and iPad:

  1. Go to the Home Screen, then swipe up from the bottom of the screen and pause in the middle of the screen. This will show the apps you currently have open in the background. If you have an iPhone or iPad with a home button, you’ll need to double-click it.
  2. Swipe up on Paramount Plus to close it.

Android:

  1. Swipe up from the bottom of your screen, hold until you see your background apps, and then release.
  2. Swipe up on Paramount Plus.

Apple TV:

  1. Double press the home button on your remote.
  2. Select Paramount Plus.
  3. Swipe up on your remote touch sensor to close the app.

Fire Stick:

  1. Press the home button on your remote.

  1. Type “Task Manager” on the search bar at the bottom of your screen.
  2. Open “Task Manager”.
  3. Click on the browser you’re using to stream Paramount Plus content.
  4. Select “End task”.

If you couldn’t find your device on the list above, please go to Google and search for “How to close apps on <Your Device’s Name Goes Here>”.

Tip: This fix can also solve low video quality issues, login difficulties, and much more.

Once you’ve completed the steps above, launch Paramount Plus again to see if the issue was solved. If it persists, keep reading. You’ll learn different ways to fix it.

#2 Check Your Browser

If you can’t find the “Continue Watching” section while using your computer, please make sure that your browser is compatible with Paramount Plus.

You see, the platform is only compatible with Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Edge, and Safari. So, if you’re using a different browser, you may experience different technical difficulties.

But, if you’re using a compatible browser, please make sure that it’s running on its latest version.

More often than not, this isn’t something you should have to worry about, as there’s automatic updating. But this process can be easily interrupted if you haven’t closed your browser in a while.

Updating your browser may sound challenging, but it’s really quick and simple. You’ll just need to:

Microsoft Edge:

  1. Open the browser and click on the three dots icon at the top of your screen.
  2. Select “Settings” from the menu.
  3. Click on “About Microsoft Edge”.
  4. Microsoft Edge will automatically begin to install any available updates.

Google Chrome:

  1. Launch Google Chrome and click on the three dots icon at the top of your screen.
  2. Click on “Help” and select “About Google Chrome”.
  3. Select “Update Google Chrome”. Then, click on “Relaunch”.

Bear in mind that your incognito windows won’t reopen when Google Chrome restarts.
